I have had some splendid news. Back in February I entered two of my published books, Crash into Darkness and Beneath the Surface, into the Romance Writers of Australia Ruby Awards for published books. Both books have finalled in the Romantic Elements category. The other two finalists, Maggie Alderson and Bronwyn Parry, are very stiff competition.The winners will be announced at the RW of Australia conference in August so an extra trip this year is looming - across the Tasman Sea to Brisbane.
The photo above is an example of the award and I reckon that could look pretty fine on my study desk.
