Another Contract for a Book

A short note to let you know that Red Rose Publishing has offered me a contract for a book, Rough Justice, that I wrote some time ago. I can even design the book cover, which is exciting. I'm expecting edits to come some time soon. Thank goodness I have finished those for Beneath the Surface - at least I think it's not coming back my way again. I still don't have a firm date on that one's release yet. I will keep you informed.

Ach, I should have known something was funny when to and day showed up on two lines in the type box.

We have a beautiful day today. The leaves have all popped out and life is all around us again.

The states have been having tornadoes like crazy. One stayed on the ground for 45 minutes. Jeff is building a tornado shelter.

Hugs, Nancy

Thanks so much, Raine, for your confidence in me. I've had such fun designing the cover - almost better than writing the book. Perhaps I should change hobby. Or perhaps it's not a hobby now that I will be a published author soon.

Thanks for dropping in, Jane. I sold to Wild Child Publishing a couple of months ago. It was one of my old Bombshell books and so is this one. It's good to see them get homes at last. I hadn't considered epublishing for so long and now I'm pleased I have. It's started off well.

Congratulations!
NICE title.

Thanks Bernita. The ending of the book is indeed a form of rough justice. I love finding names for my books. They usually come to me easily and I stick with them.

Oh, that sounds fantastic! I envy people who can write. I struggle putting a paragraph together! :) Congratulations!!

Good morning, Suzanne. :D I'm working on my new website...the portfolio section. Having fun now that the sitebuilder bug was fixed. If you have VISTA 64 bit, you have to save software to C drive and not Program Files like the software wants to do. Found that out the hard way and with a phone call.

My new camera arrived smashed on side of the box like and accordion so back it went. Ugh. Should have another one in the next day or two.

Have a super day!!!

Hugs, Nancy

Sandpiper, I envy people like you who have the technical skills to take great photographs. I just find a shot that has great composition and push the button.
Have you noticed I have added a link to your blog on mine.

Nancy, you have had your share of woes. What a shame about the camera - you waited so long for it. Idiot postmen!!

Nancy, that's great news. There's nothing like a new toy to keep the excitement levels high. Your photos were already wonderful so I can't imagine what they'll be like now.

Congrats Suzanne, that's great news.

I might let you name my (unfinished) books. Titles are the hardest part for me!

Suzanne said...

Any time, Michelle and I can design your book covers too. I love doing anything like that.

Terrific news Suzanne! Congratulations!!

I'm looking forward to reading through your vacation posts (they look too interesting to speed read) when this week hits a "pause."

Suzanne said...

Thanks, Heather. There will be more holiday posts to come. I haven't even mentioned Italy yet.

Thanks for dropping in, Steph. This is my second contracted novel but it's all still very new as the first hasn't come out yet. I love the sunset on your website.
