Erica Orloff blogged about her Christmas list and I thought I would do the same. But nothing altruistic here. This list is largely materialistic and just for me.
3) My own personal masseuse who is on call at least 16 hours a day. My shoulders and back hold my tension and emotions so an undoer of my knots readily at hand would be dreamy.
4) An Alpha Smart Neo. They are so light to carry around. I have a laptop, but they get rather heavy if carried too far, and then I need that masseuse to give my shoulders a rub. And none of that pesky constant editing because you can't see much of what you have w
ritten. Ideal.
5) The ideal bra. I seek the perfect bra but it seems to be an impossibility. I want a bra that does its leverage job without effort, that looks perfect under a thin t-shirt, that's not too tight and doesn't dig in anywhere, and that is beautiful to look at. I enter lingerie shops and see all those gorgeous, lacy numbers but under a smooth top all you see are lumps and bumps. Who wears them?
There you go - my five. Give me one of yours. Don't make it practical and it must be materialistic.

Well, you know I want a first edition of The Little Prince. And they aren't cheap!
I have a good bra. I went to an expensive shop and got expertly fitted. WOW . . . what a difference. :-)
And I know I SHOULDN'T want one--I already HAVE a phone. But I really want an iPhone. REALLY want one. My significant other has one. Oldest Daughter has one. I want one.

You would have to put that first edition well out of the way of a certain Demon child. If he got wind you loved it more than him...
If we were truly materialistic, we would go get those things but we don't because there are more inportant things like a nanny for your darling.
Fiji sounds good. ~A trip there, not the island in its entirety. I'm reviewing a travel book on Fiji and get a little wistful looking at those clear blue waters...

I lived in Fiji for a year when I was younger, Heather, and it has a lot going for it.I went back recently and it has changed over the years incuding the fact that much of the beautiful coral has been killed, so the underwater experience is rather different now. But the palm trees on the water's edge, the balmy temperatures, the clear waters are still there and worth a visit.

Hmm, guess I better go with the bra since I'd kill myself in those shoes, the chairs would look totally wrong with my...um, vintage (garage sale) furniture, I don't like a massage (unless it comes from the dh--yeah, I'm weird about strangers touching me) and I have an Alpha Smart Neo (got it last Christmas) BIG 'Alphie' love...I'd share the post but the Internet ate my old blog.
On the practical side, am in desperate need of a car, and very soon. The one I have is eighteen years old, and so rusty I'm close to riding on the gas tank, lol.
And on the materialistic side of the same coin--I wouldn't mind if that car was a Jaguar... :)
Lainey, I'd probably kill myself in those shoes too. I'm much more comfortable in low or no heels. I would love to own them as a thing of beauty and perhaps I could wear them to a sit-down dinner as long as I was delivered to the door.

You might as well aim high, Raine. 18 years old only makes it 1990 (same year Dario was born)and that feels like yesterday. Where did all the years of son's life go?
